PU12 PLY number plate for sale

Staying safe when buying

Payments

When purchasing a registration privately (i.e. directly from the seller and not through a middleman), some people choose to complete the transaction in person to ensure all goes smoothly, however, this isn't always practical and often deals are done remotely.

For this reason, we strongly recommend our secure payment service, handled by our partner, Trustap, which provides peace of mind and protection to both parties. The buyer makes their payment into a secure account, the seller is then notified that the payment has been made and can transfer the registration, the buyer then confirms receipt and the funds are released. A fee applies, which is shown before the buyer pays, and the buyer pays it unless you agree to split it. If there is a problem, Trustap's dispute team are there to help.

If you wish to proceed without using our secure payment service you do so at your own risk and we won't be able to help with any dispute. We recommend asking the seller for proof of ownership before exchanging any funds. For your peace of mind, you may want to ask for a copy of the Logbook (V5C), Certificate of Entitlement (V750) or Retention Document (V778) to prove that they own the rights to the registration (clicking the names of the documents above show examples, however, please note that we advise sellers to conceal the certificate/reference numbers highlighted in the example documents so don't worry if these are hidden), along with photo identification, before you send them any funds.

Advert accuracy

The description of this advert is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. Plate Trader do not undertake due diligence, so buyers must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description, and conduct any research they feel is necessary before buying. Please see our Terms for full details.

Exclusivity

The registration plate PU12 PLY is offered for sale directly from the seller on the Plate Trader platform. Although we do not share our advertisers details with anyone, unfortunately, it is common for some brokers and dealers to offer registration marks speculatively at an increased price.
