Personalised Number Plates Can Be Big Business!
Many people are now using private number plates to promote their businesses. Charlie Mullins, for example, has made his fleet of vans at Pimlico Plumbers stand out with a clever range of reg numbers as you can see above. This has brought him a lot of publicity and arguably made Pimlico one of the most well-known plumbing companies in the world.
Over the 25 years since DVLA Auctions began, many other businesses have seen the benefit of one or more registration plates that are unique to their business with examples like the NO 5 on a Chanel van (named after their distinct scent), and examples like PA55 MEE on a driving instructor's vehicle.
